Lowe Rust Primer, Tile Red 3.0kg, is a premium primer specifically designed to protect metal surfaces from rust. This advanced formula can be applied directly to both old and new metal, even over existing rust, damp, or wet surfaces. It chemically reacts with rust, neutralising it and preventing further corrosion. A second coat provides an additional protective barrier against future rusting. Minimal surface preparation is required, only the removal of loose and flaky material. While no over-coating is strictly necessary, it serves as an excellent base for most standard paints if a topcoat is desired.
