The Brass Foot Valve is a non-return valve fitted at the end of a suction pipe, typically for a pump. The foot valve is designed to retain water in the pipe during the cycles of lifting water, eliminating the need to continuously prime the pump. All valves feature a full bore design, low resistance to flow, and a grated inlet. They have female BSP threaded inlets ranging from 1/2" through to 2", with threads conforming to ISO228. The fitting material is Brass with a Rubber seal. It is suitable for use in systems with a maximum temperature of 90°C, a minimum temperature of 0°C, and a maximum pressure of 16 Bar.
