The Faithfull Hammer & Timber Wedges Size 5 are designed for use in conjunction with the correct wooden handle when replacing damaged handles on axe heads of all weights. Each kit includes two malleable steel hammer wedges of 18mm width and one wooden wedge measuring 62mm x 65mm. When fitted correctly they provide a secure and safe attachment of a striking head to a wooden handle. These wedges are not suitable for use with fibreglass replacement handles.
