These self-drilling screws are engineered for quick and trouble-free installation in metal constructions made from cold-formed sections. They feature a special drill bit shape for efficient drilling and a case-hardened thread that ensures high cutting performance and secure anchorage in the substrate, while maintaining a ductile core for increased resistance to dynamic loads and reduced fracture risk. The self-vulcanising EPDM sealing washer is resistant to UV radiation, ageing, and temperature fluctuations, guaranteeing long-term watertightness and protecting the joint against water ingress. Zinc plating provides additional corrosion protection. These screws are suitable for metal sheet & profiles and structural steel, ideal for drilling and screwing profiled and cover sheets.
